🔞 AI roleplay chat · SpicyChat AI review
SpicyChat AI: unfiltered and free to start, if you can wait.
A huge library of user-made characters for adult roleplay, with images and voice on paid tiers. How it works, what the tiers cost, and the best sites like SpicyChat AI.
ViceHunt’s take: Generous free chat and a giant character library, with images and voice once you pay. Free users get ads and queues, and the privacy policy says little about how your chats are used.

What is SpicyChat AI?
SpicyChat AI is a character chat site for adults, run by NextDay AI, a company with offices in Montreal, Delaware and Cyprus. It hosts hundreds of thousands of user-made characters, and unfiltered roleplay is the main draw.
It’s for over-18s only. You browse, pick a character and chat, or build your own.
How SpicyChat AI works
Search or browse the library, pick a character and start chatting, or create your own with a personality, greeting and picture. You can also set up personas, so characters know who you’re playing.
Paid tiers unlock bigger memory, a memory manager, longer replies, images generated during the conversation and text-to-speech for the AI’s replies. Higher tiers add access to its more advanced models.
What SpicyChat AI costs
You can chat for free, with ads and waiting lines when the servers are busy. Paying removes the ads and lets you skip the queue.
The paid tiers are Get a Taste at $5.95 a month, True Supporter at $19.95 and I’m All In at $29.95, with memory growing as you go up, to 32K tokens at the top. They’re monthly subscriptions, so check the renewal date and cancel before it if you’re done.
Is SpicyChat AI private?
Its privacy policy, last updated in 2023, doesn’t say whether chats are used to train AI, and it allows sharing with service providers, affiliates and business partners. You can delete your information from your account settings or through support.
Like other open character platforms, it depends on users to build the bots. A 2025 Graphika study of five such sites, SpicyChat among them, found thousands of harmful user-made bots getting past moderation. Keep identifying details out of your chats.
Is SpicyChat AI safe?
SpicyChat is built for fantasy, so keep your real life out of it:
- Don’t share your real name, location or photos
- Assume your chats are stored on its servers
- Use a separate email to sign up
- Cancel before renewal if you only wanted a month

ViceHunt’s verdict
SpicyChat AI gives you a lot for free: a huge character library and unfiltered chat, if you can live with ads and queues. Paying gets you more memory, images and voice, though the privacy policy could say much more about your chats.
Want something free without the queue? Try Janitor AI. Want a single AI girlfriend with polished images? Try Candy AI.
