🔞 Listings and reviews · Massage Republic review
Massage Republic: the name says massage, it’s mostly escorts.
A worldwide directory of independent providers, with a filter for masseuses. How it works, what you can see for free, and the best sites like Massage Republic.

ViceHunt’s take: Despite the name, most listings are escorts, not masseuses. Use the Masseuse and Verified filters, and treat unverified ads with suspicion.

Massage Republic vs the alternatives
The full Massage Republic review

What is Massage Republic?
Massage Republic is a worldwide directory where independent providers and agencies post their own profiles. Despite the name, most listings are escorts. Masseuses are just one profile type among several.
It covers hundreds of cities, including much of the UK, Canada and Australia, plus big markets in the Gulf and Asia. It has had no US cities since April 2019, when it pulled out over the FOSTA-SESTA laws.
How Massage Republic works
Pick a city, then open the search filters. Set the profile type to Masseuse and tick Verified and With reviews, or you’ll spend most of your time scrolling past escort ads.
Profiles show photos, rates, incall or outcall, and a way to message, call or email. Registered users can leave reviews and ask public questions, and listings get marked as fake when their photos are reported and not verified.
What it costs
Browsing, reading reviews and registering as a user are all free. You deal with the provider directly; Massage Republic says it doesn’t take bookings or payments.
Advertisers can list for free, with paid tiers from €7 a month that push profiles higher in search. So the top of a city page is partly paid placement, not a ranking of quality.
Red flags and reputation
Quality is mixed. In London, fewer than a third of profiles had verified photos when we checked, and some ads read like copy-pasted scripts or ask for deposits by gift voucher. Skip those.
We found no court cases against the site itself. Its rules ban underage photos and trafficking, and it links to an anti-trafficking help page. Illicit massage businesses are a common trafficking venue, so read our safety guidelines before you book anyone.
Is Massage Republic safe?
Profiles here are self-posted and only some are verified. Protect yourself:
- Filter for verified photos first
- Never pay a deposit by gift card or voucher
- Walk away if anyone seems scared, controlled or underage
- Check local laws, they differ by country
Read our safety guidelines for more.
ViceHunt’s verdict
Massage Republic is worth a look if you’re outside the US and want a big, free directory with a masseuse filter. Just remember it’s mostly an escort site, so filter hard and favour verified profiles with recent reviews.
In the UK, AdultWork has a far bigger review history. In Canada, try LeoList or the parlour reviews on Massage Planet. In Australia, Naughty Ads has its own body-rub section.

Massage Republic FAQ
Is Massage Republic free?
Yes for users. Browsing, registering and reading reviews are free; advertisers pay for higher placement.
Is Massage Republic legit?
It’s a real, established directory, but providers post their own ads and some are fake. Stick to verified profiles with recent reviews, and never pay a deposit up front.
Is Massage Republic a massage site?
Only partly. Most listings are escorts, so use the Masseuse profile type filter to see massage providers only.
Does Massage Republic work in the US?
No. It closed its US cities in April 2019, citing the FOSTA-SESTA laws, and US cities still aren’t listed.
What are the best Massage Republic alternatives?
AdultWork for the UK, LeoList and Massage Planet for Canada, and Naughty Ads for Australia.
