BongaCams: a giant free cam site, mind the top-ups.
A big free-to-watch cam site run from Cyprus, with thousands of models online. How it works, what shows cost, and the best sites like BongaCams.
ViceHunt’s take: Huge choice and refreshingly clear default prices. The catch: it’s less polished than the leaders, and Auto Top-up can keep charging your card if you forget about it.

BongaCams vs the alternatives
The full BongaCams review
What is BongaCams?
BongaCams launched in 2012 and is one of the biggest free cam sites, with well over 2,000 models online when we checked. Its terms name BNC Technology and Advertising Ltd, based in Nicosia, Cyprus, as the operator.
You can watch public rooms for free; a free account lets you chat and buy tokens. By Alexa’s ranking it was the most visited cam site in the world in 2020.
How BongaCams works
Free chat is the public room, where models perform for tips. From there you can join a group chat, take a model into a private chat, or pay more for a full-private chat where nobody else can watch.
During a normal private chat, other members can use Voyeur/Spy mode to watch as spectators, paying per second while they’re in. Private and full-private chats also let you talk to the model by voice.
What it costs
BongaCams posts default rates: 30 tokens a minute for group chat, 60 for private, 90 for full-private and 15 for spy mode. Models can set their own prices, so check the rate in the room before you start.
Tokens come in packages. The official prices page lists the smallest at 39 tokens for €2.99, and bigger packs work out cheaper per token. If you tick Auto Top-up at checkout, the site re-buys the same package automatically whenever your balance runs low, until you switch it off.
Who is BongaCams for?
It suits you if you want a huge free choice and like knowing the going rate up front. It’s less polished than Stripchat or Chaturbate, and the “app” is a shortcut you add to your home screen, not an app-store download.
Its terms also say it can ask for a copy of your ID and payment card to prevent fraud, so don’t be surprised if a big purchase triggers a check.
Is BongaCams safe?
BongaCams is an established site; a few habits keep your spending in check:
- Leave Auto Top-up switched off
- Check the room’s price before going private
- Turn on 2-step verification
- Never pay a model outside the site

ViceHunt’s verdict
BongaCams is a solid big free cam site with honest, published default prices and plenty of choice. It isn’t the slickest, and Auto Top-up is worth avoiding.
Want the biggest free crowd? Try Chaturbate. Want a more modern site with VR? Try Stripchat.
