🔞 Parlour reviews · RubMaps review
RubMaps: a huge map of parlour reviews, none of it verified.
A user-written directory of US massage parlours, with client reviews and photos. How it works, what’s free, what VIP unlocks, and the best sites like RubMaps.
ViceHunt’s take: RubMaps lists more parlours than anyone, but every word on it is user-submitted and unchecked. Use it to look a place up, not to trust it, and know that its name keeps coming up in trafficking cases.

RubMaps vs the alternatives
The full RubMaps review
What is RubMaps?
RubMaps is a directory of massage parlours across the US, where users add the locations, photos and reviews. It’s been running since 2010, and a 2018 WGBH News investigation called it likely the most popular review board of its kind.
The site is upfront that it checks nothing. It calls itself “100% user-generated” and says it doesn’t know whether the locations, photos or reviews are accurate, so treat it as a starting point, not a source of truth.
How RubMaps works
Pick a state and city, or search by parlour name, and you get a list of businesses with user photos and reviews. There’s also a forum, and an escort reviews link that sends you to Erotic Monkey.
A free basic account lets you browse. The fuller review content sits in a VIP area, and the site’s terms pitch paid VIP as the option for people who don’t write reviews themselves.
What RubMaps costs
Browsing listings is free. VIP is sold as a monthly card plan that renews every 30 days until you cancel, or as one-off 6- or 12-month blocks. The terms page doesn’t show a price, so check it at checkout.
Refunds are limited. The refund policy says charges are generally non-refundable, with a possible exception if you ask within 14 days of a subscription payment, so don’t sign up for VIP on a whim.
Reputation and red flags
RubMaps has turned up in trafficking cases for years. WGBH News reported in 2018 that client reviews on the site had led investigators to a Massachusetts parlour, and in 2021 Missouri’s attorney general sued a spa accused of trafficking, citing more than 20 RubMaps reviews of it.
In 2019 The Wall Street Journal reported that federal agencies were investigating whether RubMaps, Erotic Monkey and Eros had knowingly enabled trafficking, prostitution and money laundering. We found no reports of charges against the site. RubMaps says it has zero tolerance for trafficking and lists US hotlines for reporting it.
Is RubMaps safe?
Unverified reviews can’t tell you who’s safe, or who’s there by choice. Protect yourself and others:
- Walk away if anyone seems scared, controlled or underage
- Report concerns to the trafficking hotline: 1-888-373-7888
- Treat every review as unverified
- Check local laws, which differ by state and city

ViceHunt’s verdict
RubMaps has the widest parlour coverage you’ll find, and that’s its real selling point. Nothing on it is checked and its history is tangled up with trafficking investigations, so read it with that in mind.

RubMaps FAQ
Is RubMaps free?
Browsing listings with a basic account is free. Fuller review content sits in a paid VIP area, sold monthly or in 6- and 12-month blocks.
Is RubMaps legit?
It’s a real, long-running site, but by its own admission everything on it is user-submitted and unverified. It has also been named in trafficking investigations and lawsuits against spas, so read it critically.
Is it legal to use RubMaps?
Laws on massage businesses and paying for sex differ by state and city. Check the rules where you are; we can’t give legal advice.
Can I cancel RubMaps VIP?
Yes. The monthly plan renews every 30 days until you cancel, and the site has a membership cancellation page. Refunds are generally not given, except possibly within 14 days of a subscription payment.
What are the best RubMaps alternatives?
AMP Reviews for a forum with city-by-city review threads, ECCIE for another big review forum, and Erotic Monkey if you want escort reviews rather than parlours.
