The full Fanvue review

What is Fanvue?

Fanvue is a subscription site founded in London in 2020. It works much like OnlyFans, but it calls itself an AI monetisation platform and openly welcomes AI-generated creators alongside real ones.

It says it has more than 200,000 creators and has paid out over $500 million. Virtual influencers are a real part of the business: some of its best-known earners don’t exist.

How Fanvue works for fans

Many creators let you follow for free, with a subscription for full access. On top of that come pay-per-view posts, paid messages and tips. Creators can also send automated messages, so that friendly “thanks for subscribing” DM is often a script.

AI creators have to say their content is AI-generated, in their bio, a caption or a watermark. There isn’t much browsing on the site itself, so most fans arrive from a creator’s Instagram or TikTok.

What Fanvue costs

Creators set their own prices. Fanvue lists subscriptions from $3.99 to $100 a month and pay-per-view posts from $3 to $500, so check the price before you unlock anything.

Treat every subscription as recurring until you’ve checked the renewal setting. Look at how the charge will appear on your statement before you pay, and use a separate or virtual card if privacy matters.

For creators, and the red flags

Creators keep 85% for their first month after passing ID checks, then 80%. That’s a slightly better start than OnlyFans, though you’ll still need your own social following to bring in fans.

The AI side cuts both ways. Fanvue’s rules ban using a real person’s likeness without their documented consent and ID checks, but as a fan you may be paying to chat with a character, not a person. Some creators have questioned how it handles AI adult content.

Is Fanvue safe?

Fanvue is upfront about AI, but it pays to know who, or what, you’re paying:

  • Look for the AI label in the bio or caption
  • Assume welcome DMs may be automated
  • Set a monthly limit for PPV and tips
  • Never pay for “leaks” or deals off the platform

ViceHunt’s verdict

Fanvue is a decent, smaller alternative to OnlyFans with good terms for new creators and an honest stance on AI. For fans it works well, as long as you check whether the creator is real and keep an eye on PPV.

Want more real creators and better browsing? Try Fansly. Want the biggest selection? Stick with OnlyFans. Want live shows? Try LoyalFans.
