🔞 Creator feed · Slushy review
Slushy: free reels from real creators, chats cost gems.
A Miami-built creator platform that mixes a TikTok-style reel feed with subscriptions, paid messages and live video. How it works, what gems and subscriptions cost, and the best sites like Slushy.

ViceHunt’s take: A slick feed of clips posted by the creators themselves, which makes it more legit than most. But the free part is a shop window: the nudity, chats and calls mostly cost gems or subscriptions.

The full Slushy review

What is Slushy?
Slushy is a Miami-based creator platform that combines a scrolling reel feed with paid content, a bit like TikTok crossed with OnlyFans. The company was co-founded by CEO David Gross and launched its platform in 2022 as an invite-only app for professional creators.
In 2024 it raised a $10.2 million seed round, billed as the first venture-backed adult content platform, with backers including Tinder co-founder Sean Rad. Axios reported 1 million users and 10,000 creators in early 2024.
How Slushy works
The home screen is a full-screen feed of short clips you swipe through, ranked by what you watch and like. Tap a creator to follow them, open their profile or message them, and use hashtags to find more of the same.
Creators post free teasers, subscriber-only posts and pay-to-unlock content, and many go live or take paid one-on-one video calls. You can watch a little without an account, but you sign up with Google or email to do more.
What it costs
Watching the feed is free, and new accounts are offered a batch of free messages. After that, Slushy runs on gems, its in-app currency, which you buy in packs and spend on messages, tips, unlocks and calls.
Creators set their own subscription and content prices. Expect frequent pop-up offers with countdown timers, and check whether a subscription renews before you pay.
Is Slushy legit?
More than most sites in this category. Content comes from creators who sign up and post themselves, there’s a 2257 notice and a trust and safety policy, and the company, founders and investors are public.
The downside is the business model. The free feed exists to sell you chats, unlocks and subscriptions, and sales prompts appear often. If you only want free clips, the big swipe-feed sites give you far more for nothing.
Is Slushy safe?
Slushy is a real company, but it’s built to get you spending:
- Set a budget before you buy gems
- Ignore countdown offers and “last chance” deals
- Keep personal details out of chats and calls
- Check whether a subscription renews before paying

ViceHunt’s verdict
Slushy is one of the more legit TikTok-style options: real creators, a smooth feed and a public company behind it. But it’s a storefront first, so the good stuff costs gems or subscriptions.
