What is OurDream AI?
OurDream AI is an adults-only AI roleplay and companion platform run by Dream Studio USA, Inc., a Delaware company. It says it has more than 11 million characters, most of them made by users, and you can chat, swap images and videos and make voice calls with them.
It calls itself a “no limits” platform for roleplay and NSFW images and video, but it has firm lines: no content involving minors, including characters that look underage, and no characters based on real people, celebrities included.
How OurDream AI works
Browse the huge character library or build your own companion by choosing appearance, personality and voice. Chats run on a memory system meant to recall past conversations, and you can switch between realistic and anime styles.
Images and videos are generated on request, and voice calls let you talk instead of type. The library is mostly made by users, so quality varies, and some public characters lean into very dark scenarios. Creators of characters only see overall stats, not your chats or username.
Free vs Premium and dreamcoins
You can sign up for free, but OurDream doesn’t clearly publish the free tier’s limits. Premium costs $19.99 a month on a monthly plan, or $9.99 a month billed yearly as $119.88, and includes unlimited messages with any character, image and video generation, and 1,000 dreamcoins every month. The yearly plan adds a one-time bonus of 1,000 coins.
Dreamcoins pay for media, and video in particular uses them up quickly, so heavy users will end up buying more. Subscriptions renew until you cancel, so set a reminder if you’re only trying it.
Is OurDream AI private and safe?
OurDream has one of the clearer safety setups in this category. Everyone confirms their age at sign-up, and where the law requires it, including the UK and Australia, you verify through Go.cam or AgeVerif, which only pass back a yes or no. Moderation combines automated checks with human review, and appeals go to a different person.
It says it won’t sell your chats or your data and that chats are end-to-end encrypted so even staff can’t read them, but we couldn’t find an independent audit backing that up, and its public pages don’t say whether chats are used for training. We found no reported breaches or regulator action.
