What is EVA AI?
EVA AI, listed in app stores as EVA AI Soulmate, is a companion app from Novi Limited, a company registered in Nicosia, Cyprus. It’s an iPhone and Android app built around romantic chat with AI characters. Note that the official site is evaapp.ai; eva-ai.com is a parked domain.
It’s rated 18+ and is openly romantic and flirtatious, but it isn’t a fully explicit platform. Apple’s listing flags only mild or infrequent sexual content, and reviewers describe it as suggestive rather than graphic.
How EVA AI works
You pick from a range of ready-made personalities or create and customise your own character. Then you chat, and the app promises the relationship grows over time, with your character remembering shared details and opening up the longer you talk.
You can send photos, and your character can send pictures back. Voice is part of it too: you can listen to your character’s AI voice and send your own audio messages, but the developer says that needs a subscription.
What EVA AI costs
The app is free to download and you can start chatting without paying, with limits. EVA Premium is a membership sold for one, three or twelve months, and prices vary by offer and country.
Separately, EVA sells Neurons, an in-app currency used for messages and extras. Users regularly complain that they still need Neurons on top of a Premium membership, so costs can creep up. Memberships renew automatically until you cancel in your app store.
Privacy and red flags
EVA’s privacy policy says it will never sell your personal data, but it does use your text and voice messages to develop its AI. Ad and analytics partners include Google, Facebook and Microsoft, some usage data goes to the ad network Mintegral, and Apple’s privacy label says identifiers and usage data are used to track you.
In 2024, Mozilla gave EVA AI a *Privacy Not Included warning. It said the bot pushed users for photos and voice recordings, and that it could create an account with the password “1111”. You can delete your profile in the app or ask support to do it.

EVA AI wants you to open up, so set some limits first:
