Chaturbate: the most free shows, tips add up.

What is Chaturbate?

Chaturbate is a free-to-watch live cam site that launched in 2011. It’s run by Multi Media LLC, a company based in California, and it ranks among the most visited adult sites in the world.

Thousands of models stream at any time, including women, men, couples and trans performers. You can watch most rooms without signing up; a free account lets you chat, follow models and buy tokens.

How Chaturbate works

Public rooms are free. Models set tip goals and tip menus, and viewers send tokens to reach them, so the show moves along as the tips come in.

For one-on-one time you can take a model into a private show, charged per minute at a rate the model sets, starting at 6 tokens a minute. Other viewers can often spy on a private show for less, and private shows you pay for are recorded by default so you can watch them again.

What it costs

Watching is free. Everything else runs on tokens, and token prices depend on the package you buy. Chaturbate’s terms say tips are gifts and won’t be refunded for any reason.

There’s also an optional paid Supporter membership with extras, and many models run fan clubs with a monthly fee they set themselves. Fan club memberships renew automatically every month until you cancel.

Is Chaturbate safe?

It’s a long-running, mainstream site, and its legal run-ins have mostly been about age checks. In 2024 its operator settled with Texas for $675,000 after being sued under the state’s age-verification law, and in April 2025 the French regulator Arcom formally ordered it to keep minors out. Depending on where you live, you may be asked to verify your age before you can watch.

The bigger risk is your wallet. The free show is built to keep you tipping, so decide what you’ll spend before you buy tokens.
