How to choose
Free sites vs premium sites
On free, tip-based sites like Chaturbate, Stripchat, BongaCams, MyFreeCams, CamSoda and CAM4, anyone can watch public shows, and models earn from tips and paid private shows. They have the most models and the most to see for free.
Premium sites like LiveJasmin, Streamate, Flirt4Free, ImLive, XLoveCam and Cams.com keep free chat mostly as a teaser and charge per minute for private shows. You pay more, but you get one-on-one time and fewer people in the room.
White labels and roulette sites
Some sites don’t have models of their own. Jerkmate and SlutRoulette are front ends for Streamate: same models, same per-minute prices, different branding and a matchmaking or roulette twist. That’s fine, but it’s worth knowing you could go to the source.
SkyPrivate is different again: you pay per minute for private video calls on Teams, Discord or Telegram, with no free shows at all. Cherry.tv is a smaller tip-based site that turns tipping into a game, with levels and leaderboards.
What it costs
Free sites sell tokens in packages, and models set their own prices for tips and shows. Spy shows, where you watch someone else’s private, cost less, and group shows split the cost between viewers. Premium sites charge per minute in credits, and the rate is shown before you start.
Memberships like Chaturbate’s Supporter, Stripchat’s Ultimate, CAM4 Gold and Flirt4Free VIP add extras, and some renew automatically. BongaCams has an Auto Top-up that buys more tokens when you run low. Check what renews before you pay, and turn off anything you don’t want.
Privacy and safety
Several cam sites have leaked user data: Cams.com in the 2016 FriendFinder breach, CAM4 in 2020, Stripchat in 2021, and old MyFreeCams member records turned up for sale in 2021. Use a separate email address and a password you don’t reuse.
Never share your real name, socials or anything identifying on cam2cam, and be wary of anyone who asks you to pay them off the site: that’s where most scams start. Paying through the site keeps you covered. Our safety guidelines have more.

Do cam sites check your age?
More and more do. Sites now have to verify viewers’ ages in the UK and in several US states and EU countries, and some have been fined or sued over weak checks.
