🔞 Casual dating site · BeNaughty review
BeNaughty: built for casual, proceed with caution.
A long-running casual dating site for people who want something no-strings. How it works, what you pay for, the red flags, and the best sites like BeNaughty.

ViceHunt’s take: It’s clearly aimed at hookups, but the warning signs stack up: murky ownership, AI-generated images on its own homepage, auto-renewing trials and a 1.2 Trustpilot score. Try a better-known site first.

BeNaughty vs the alternatives
The full BeNaughty review

What is BeNaughty?
BeNaughty is a casual dating site for people looking for something no-strings, with versions for the US, Canada and Australia. It used to belong to Cupid plc, which sold its casual dating sites, BeNaughty among them, in 2013, the same year the BBC questioned whether fake profiles were used on Cupid’s sites. Cupid denied it.
Who runs it today isn’t easy to pin down. The imprint on benaughty.com names IDALIA LIMITED, with a Dublin address, review sites name other companies, and the look-alike benaughty.net pages carry their own, different terms.
How BeNaughty works
Sign-up is quick: pick who you’re looking for, add your age, location and email, and you can start browsing. You can send flirts and messages, and photos go through moderators before they appear.
Its terms call the service “online entertainment and social services” and mention internal technical accounts that “do not represent actual users”. They also let it filter messages, swap rule-breaking parts for standard templates, and show your profile across its other sites and products.
What’s free and what isn’t
Joining is free, but the terms are clear that free members get limited access, and full access means paying for a membership. Packages include 1-day, 3-day and 1-week trials and 1, 3 or 6-month plans, with prices shown at checkout.
Every package, trials included, renews automatically at the same price until you cancel. Refunds are only given in “extenuating circumstances”, and the site may also take a small card-verification charge of up to $5, which it says it refunds.
BeNaughty’s red flags
The footer on BeNaughty’s own homepage says “This page contains AI-generated images”, so the faces in its ads may not be real members. On Trustpilot it scores 1.2 out of 5 from more than 600 reviews, mostly about bot-like chats, surprise charges after trials and hard-to-cancel plans.
None of that proves every profile is fake, but it’s a lot of warning signs for one site. If you try it, start with the shortest trial, switch off the renewal straight away and never send money to anyone you meet there.
Is BeNaughty safe?
BeNaughty calls for more caution than most, so protect your wallet first:
- Switch off auto-renew right after paying
- Pay with a card you can easily block
- Never send money or gift cards to anyone
- Be wary of chats that feel scripted

ViceHunt’s verdict
BeNaughty is pitched squarely at casual dating, but murky ownership, AI-generated marketing images, auto-renewing trials and dismal reviews make it hard to recommend. If you do try it, pick the shortest plan and keep your guard up.
For a better-known adult hookup site, try Adult FriendFinder. For explicit chat and video, try Fling, or Feeld for a modern app with verified profiles.
BeNaughty FAQ
Is BeNaughty free?
You can sign up and look around for free, but free members get limited access. Full access needs a paid trial or membership, and all of them renew automatically.
Is BeNaughty legit?
It’s a real, long-running site, but the warning signs add up: murky ownership, AI-generated images on its homepage and a 1.2 Trustpilot score full of fake-profile and billing complaints.
Who owns BeNaughty?
Its imprint names IDALIA LIMITED, with an address in Dublin, Ireland. It was previously owned by Cupid plc, which sold its casual dating sites in 2013.
How do I cancel BeNaughty?
Cancel the auto-renewal before your renewal date and keep proof that you did. If you paid through Apple, cancel through your Apple account instead.
What are the best BeNaughty alternatives?
Adult FriendFinder for a bigger explicit hookup site, Fling for adult chat and video, and Ashley Madison if discretion matters most.
