FAKKU: known for manga, quietly good at games.

What is FAKKU?

FAKKU started in 2006 as a site sharing fan translations of adult manga, then became a licensed publisher by the end of 2015 after partnering with Japanese publishers. It’s best known for English hentai manga and its FAKKU Unlimited subscription.

It has published games since 2018, starting with Illusion’s Honey Select Unlimited. In 2026 it picked up the rights to publish games from Japanese studio Fairytale.

How FAKKU’s games store works

The games section lists hundreds of English adult games, visual novels and nukige. You buy each one and download it, and some titles come as uncensored versions or with decensor patches.

FAKKU Unlimited is advertised for its manga library, so budget for games separately. FAKKU games are also sold through partners such as Kagura Games and itch.io.

What FAKKU costs

There’s no free-to-play side. Games are priced one by one, from short budget titles to full releases, and sales come round often.

Payments have been rocky. In late 2025 a long-time payment processor closed FAKKU’s account without warning, and in April 2026 the company said it was looking at crypto, prepaid cards and its own points system.

Content removals and reputation

Around the same time, FAKKU hid and then removed many titles and some whole categories, and some buyers lost access to things they’d paid for. That shook trust, even among long-time fans.

It’s still a legitimate company selling official, licensed releases. Its games have been sold as DRM-free downloads since the start, so keep your own copies of what you buy.
